In winning the title Cashmere Technical become the fastest to be decleared champions in at 21 game season - 16 rounds, previous best was Woolston Technical in 2010 after 17 rounds.
Cashmere Technical have a record 7 MPL titles - in 9 seasons (2 2nd places) next best Bays on 5, Suburbs 3, and both Nomads and Woolston Technical with two each since the MPL commenced in 2002.
Coastal Spirit joined the '300' point club from 191 games, the seventh club to reach this milestone and now joins Suburbs, Bays, Western, Nomads, Cashmere Technical and Halswell.
