He has good reason, looking at combined junior numbers, pathway to senior football and proven performance at top end. However let's not forget 3 slumbering will-be-giants clubs: 1) Dutch-influenced FC Twenty 11 - massive juniors; heaps of natural ethnic talent; growing corporate base; 2) Halswell-Selwyn: likely to merge eventually, lots of Pommie expats; growing growing growing + Lincoln students; 3) Waimak - potential powerhouse; that will probably end up sucking in Blenheim the way its going. Not to mention future Nomads-Papanui-Burwood-Parklands-St Albans-Western configurations. Looks to me like Coastal fear being left out. Good luck merging with Bays/Burwood/Parklands!
