Nomads have struggled for goals for a few seasons now and unfortunately if you don't score you don't win. In the past they could always rely on a miserly defence but the loss of Rowe and the likes of Dom still being quite young have meant they're not so watertight anymore. Continuity can be hard at this level especially if you can't guarantee thats lads will remain at a club year in year out. Tech benifited when Braith and Pitts moved across town whereas Nomads fell away. This season the loss of 90% of last seasons goals through Kamo, Murray and Tippett have meant Tech struggled to find their feet. Are they going to plummet like nomads, I doubt it. However I do predict that Braith will retire from mainland this season probably due to some teams feeling tech have an advantage with having the Canterbury coach. It should be interesting to see who comes in next season if this happens and how it will affect the team as a whole. Rant over
