. Does the same apply to Andy Pitman, still assistant coach at CU and Tech? Some of their players have already moved on anyway but losing Braithwaite will probably accelerate this. Having said that they have always had a strong youth team feeding players through to the seniors. And let's not forget he wasn't flavour of the month with every Tech player.

If it was more than a 14 game league I would agree. But do you have coach do no coaching for most of the year then do it over the summer? Wouldn't happen for players but are coaches that different.

NZFC is supposed to be a 21 game league. Only dropped to 14 as a temporary measure. He should be scouting potential recruits during the winter, between that and a 21 week season plus 4-6 week pre-season easily 30 weeks of the year worth of work, then add in the OFC and the club World Championship and that's the year done and dusted.
