Foal - what's your real beef? Sour grapes or simply a different concept of picking a team? Your implication that ability to PAY comes before ability to PLAY has got to be a load of old horse$#@! doesn't it? Sure rep teams cost money to kit, transport, feed, accommodate and that has to come from somewhere but do rep selectors ask to see copies of household income before before selecting a kid? Ask the selectors what the criteria for selection is- potential? all round technical ability? biggest/fastest/strongest? Are they selecting a team to win today (by playing sh*te football) or are they selecting a team with the potential to really play the game? Mainland's hardship fund should cover any ability to pay issue.
