Mind you 10 of the 11 starting players had played senior football for Canterbury or higher.


Makes you wonder what happens? I know there is a cyclical nature to the ups and downs of club life but why is a club that was so successfull in the womens game no where to be seen now?

Oh and another claim to fame for Coastal as the most successful mens Sunday League club historically through their New Brighton constituent, the mighty Rovers!
