"Off to watch Coa$tal Spirit women secure the Premier League title yet again"

FC 2011 beat Coastal 2-1 to secure the title.Don't think Coastal winning the title twice in the last 4 years constitutes a monopoly...

That comment came more from an historical context. History shows that Rangers and New Brighton (the 2 constituent clubs of Coastal) have dominated the womens game in the Mainland region for a very long time. Big ask for the girls to back up again today after getting past Woolston Tech in a tough game yesterday but hey, them's the breaks. More incentive to ramp it up next year. Good for the game to see the title go to the 3rd different club in the past 3 years, well done FC2011. Coastal still have the women's knockout cup and the Reta Fitzpatrick to play for, all in all another good solid season from a talented young side.
