One nil to Nomads at half time. Western had a penalty with 15 to go, saved by the Nomads keeper, ref happy with save and to follow play, not even a hint from the ref he thought it could be ruled out nor anyone else at the park including those by the goal line had any doubt's with the save, next time ball out ref ref spots young lino with flag up making the biggest bullsh*t call [must have got his badge off a Weetbix box] that the keeper moved before kick taken, just the same as every other GK in world football does when making a penalty save. One foot moves before the other and back foot still on the line.
Retaken penalty was scored to make it one each, Nomads pushed in the last ten got the second but never got a clear look to get a third.
I'm sure the Matt Thomas save vs Nomads a few weeks ago Matt moved further and not pinged for it. If the Nomads keeper had jumped forward before diving agree call it but he didn't.
So officials want respect. Yeh right.
I was always told at refs coaching with national league refs make the big calls, make sure the're 150% correct and the game looks after it self, don't become the talking point after the game.
What happened to refs that actually know about the game and not just doing an exam?
