I cant see a 10 team MPL coming, mainland want mens div1 stronger (quite rightly too, Cashmere, Selwyn and Pap redwood should all be capable of putting a team in there), I cant see how making the top flight bigger will help the current situation

Cashmere all set to merge with Woolston Technical, from what I hear should happen in the next few months
I've been hearing that rumour for years, along with the burwood-parklands merger more recently. Should be a really strong club if the Cashmere - Tech one finally happens
