Club didnt want a player going away to national schools champs and missing a gamefor the club, sh*t got messy and they went to mainland to have a cry over it.
Mainland ruled that it was the player's decision and right as they were registered to the school and the club and refused to step in to make a call either way.
The club used FIFA legislation around the 1 player 1 club rule (which is meant to be for professional players, not a 16-17 year old kid) and mainland was forced to back down unless 100% of the clubs were happy with the 1 school, 1 club rego policy. No prizes for guessing which one club f**ked it for the rest....
