I agree with Gings, there shouldn't be 2 teams from the same club in Div 1. It might get to the point of 2 Cashtech, 2 FC2011, 2 Coastal and 2 Mid Canty. What sort of thing is that doing for football in CHCH?
some D1 grades looking like 2 groups of 4 as far as competitive matches go.
it's a hard one to fix because most parents just take their child to a 'better' club as opposed to staying and working harder.If the optimal situation is 8 team grade with 8 different clubs then some sort of 'direction' is required.
FTC/Rep Players have moved to clubs that can win the D1 grade, very few , if any have shifted to sides who will struggle in a result sense.
