Have the wheels fallen off the bus for ChCh Utd? After a first up drubbing from Coastal they got a good draw against Bays. Now after 2 successive losses they have 1 point from 4 games and shipping goals like there's no tomorrow. Can Harry Houdini get them up for Nelson this coming Saturday? Could be a long season for the once mighty Rams.

Looked better today against Halswell as had Chris Anderson and Alex Williams back, I think that it could be a long season. From what I have seen so far of the current bottom four, FC Twenty11 will get better, unsure my how muchand Western and Halswell will pick up points / wins.

United will battle all game but if theyhave some injuries unsure aboutany real depth on the bench. In recent season United have picked up early points thenit was a matter if the other caught up at seasons end, I cannot see United reaching 18 points this season.

ChCh United could have taken the lead on 33 minutes except for Parkers flying defensive header with halswell keeper beaten, kept the score at nil nil. Poor defensive errors gave halswell all 3 goals.
Goal 1. Mix up with keeper and defender both going for same ball at the edge of penalty area, ball cleared sideways not up the pitch shot from 45 degrees out, keeper badly positioned.

Goal two. Scramble on the ground keeper not holding on to ball defenders not being positive. Slam ball anywhere keeper still on ground.

Goal3. Long throw by Parker goes to back post area header back across goal for easy header into unguarded net.

That's how I saw the goals, Halswell played way too fast in the 1st half looked much better in 2nd slowed play down.
