Can someone clarify dual registration bylaw rule for me? Player can play any football for school and any football for club?

I think it changes from Federation to Federation. Stand to be corrected but locally looks like not allowed for males if the school wants the player but not the case for females but the latter do not have schools playing on a Saturday.

For example last year Tane Gent had to play for his school and this year many of the Rangi girls playing in Saturday for Coastal, maybe something to do with Gareth Turnbull involved at both Rangi and Coastal and of course he is the NZ Secondary Schools coach as well.
