Nike Cup rules have (unfortunately) never been enforced. I'd put the Nike Cup at the end of the year like a mega-knockout, but that's another story. The Nelson to Nelson thing was worse cos we got to watch it play out live on the transfers page. I love that transfers page.
We've got all sorts of strange things going on in kids football at the moment it must be a real challenge to get it under control. There are 13's playing 14's, 15's playing 17's and PDL, and girls 14's playing 18's and PDL. Combine that with 10 FTC's in one team, Nike Cup, School teams, PDL kicking off around the same time as 17's and 18's, 5 FTC trainings cancelled and it's only just started, plus kids transferring/scrambling for clubs in the week before kickoff. We're in good health!

Heard a wee rumour a sub committee has been set up to discuss kids playing up in the age groups etc to try and get some bylaws put in place for next year.
I'm absolutely amping for the season to kick off, just hope its not a crappy wet season with cancellations every second week!
