Heard a wee whisper some out of town entities are looking to move out of mainlands saturday comps and have their own, cant see it happening/working tbh

Similar thing happened in Central in last few years I think. Something like some of the Taranaki clubs running their own leagues - weren't happy with the fed, didn't pay fed levies etc but a disaster in terms of the overall sport pyramid.

Sounds like this is with mainlands blessing and only up to a certain age group. Cant see it happening.

Who's going to get the wooden spoon? Looking at their last seven games both have a 1 draw 6 loss record with United goals 8 For and 18 Against with FC 7 For and 20 Against.
A promo/relegation battle for the ages: FC20i'mstilllaughingatthatname vs Chch Utd.
One, a big new modern merged club with modern processes, clubmark, employed administrator and coach/dev officer, centralised ground that is getting lights and has no summer sports clash, year-round player devt plan from 4 year olds up vs small club with small junior and senior team base, squeezed between 2 massive clubs (halswell/cashmere); BUT they hold an MPL spot.
I'm so conflicted, part of me wants to see the club with no juniors etc vanish, but then I hate FC LOL 11...
