Too scared to play them!  Tis a sad state when top grade football is defaulted. I remember reading about big fines that could be handed out if a premier game is defaulted. I note that the other two Western Women's teams still managed to play today, so what was it then? Can't be unavailability of players.

To be fair to the other two Western's sides they were both chasing titles in their own leagues, which they both won, so can understand why coaches / players would want to play for the side that they have been playing all season.

Maybe the real issue is trying to stage doubles headers on successive days in the premier league considering the women's league started three weeks after the men's and the women's play one less round.
