Just speculating here, but surely with the rec centre and staff there you would assume that they will have a tailored gym program for a start. Beyond that who knows. The point is that I doubt any club in town has the backing of multi million dollar training facilities and access to sport scientists on a regular basis. Hard to say though as it is only a passing mention on their application thingy, they certainly haven't given anything away.
Ok cool, cheers. Always interested in what makes a club the bees knees - facilities? amenities? programmes? subs? premierships? staff?
I suppose the rec centre is for all sports at Uni? And does being a member of a code like football give you guaranteed access to sports science, quality turf etc?
I see CashTech's plans to set up at Linwood lower fields may have been scuppered by the Ministry of Ed's plan to relocate Linwood College on that site.
Would be interested in more peoples views on the topic of what makes a club great to belong to (rather than who is the best club at the moment), particularly while it's the off season.
