Unconfirmed grist to the rumour mill:
1. Cashmere Technical paid employee (i think they have a few on the payroll) has either had hours drastically reduced or lost his job due to club losing funding from gaming trusts. Apparently major stoush between Cashmere/Tech club(s) and Mainland over "smoke and mirrors" approach by the newly merged club(s) led to pow-wow of chairmen/women of each organisation trying to sort on-going issues.
2. Apparently the proposed new "Burnley pathway" is going to cost $1,000 per annum for players; slightly more than FTC (personally I'm still confused over whether or not the Burnley thing is just a "coach the club coaches"/scouting exercise). Regardless, Mainland look to have another APFA-style academy on their doorstep. Relationships between Mainland and APFA, Burnley Academy, some clubs (see #1 above) at an all time low. Development pathways galore; which ones do forum viewers think is best?
3. Resignations, heated discussions and new jobs in futsal-land as Mainland 'align' the sport which has been quietly growing the last few years.
