Would be a while since Coastal women were beaten in the league. Their reserve/PDL/18s (???) team were also trounced 4-1 by cashmere. Maybe the balance of power has shifted?
And on the women's game, Coastal have what I've discovered is a school team playing under the Coastal Rangi name (Rangi Ruru). At the risk of displaying my ignorance on such matters, why the different rules/approach for boys/girls football re clubs/saturdays; school/midweek? Is the Rangi/Coastal model one that might be a path forward for the for the age old chestnut of schools v clubs?
