Don't expect the SI league to happen any time in the next 3 years.

Entry criteria would have to be on the finishing positions of the league at end of MPL rounds then clubs having the right to play or not.

Cost would still be a problem for some clubs unless a travel fund ex Mainland was used.

Why on earth wait 3 years? Sounds too much like the Rebuild to me.

So, what without being nasty have you done to get it off the ground?

Simple logic says it will not be before then. If it does happen before then I will be very pleased.

Are we talking about a full on league or a 4 team play offs a previous.

I'm meaning a comp with eight or ten teams over 2 rounds.

How long have we waited for Mainland Football to get together with FootballSouth and get a league up and or in the planning stage.

Well how about fiour years already since I [Bill knows my veiws, but these may not be a club view anymore] and others at a Mainland/Club meeting at a season review stated it needed to be done ASAP.

So tell me how close are we to getting a meeting with MPL and SPL clubs in the same room to go over any format details.

Football clubs in Dunedin see themselves being better than those in Chch with one year [last season] being the small hiccup.

Roll on Chatham Cup then.

I think I did more two weekends ago when in Dunedin for a round of the National Rally Champs than has been done in the last two years. Went to two clubs on the Saturday night and 1 not interested [bottom half of SPL at present but a young team] and 1 would be in again the cost and how it would work is the important part.
