Odd they haven't been involved yet, maybe more focused on juniors? Clinics they are running in Waimak for youth players are making a marked difference already, and will benefit senior teams.
Waimak are part of the Burnley set up, right? Likewise Selwyn? Nomads? But Martin and Graham coaching seniors only at Waimak? How is the whole Burnley thing going for clubs?
Selwyn, Waimak and Green Island in Dunners ended up as host clubs, but players do not have to be associated with them to participate. Bit of a delay in second coach getting to Chch, but from what I gather going pretty well. Good to see an option out in the sticks for those that can't get to or decided FTC was not for them. The clinic for the older age group was an afterthought rather than part of the initial plan, but Waimak has good numbers and together they worked out a model to suit. User pays yes, but so far MF has come up with very little/no alternative.
