yes scottie road, seen them play?? Any team that can go 8 games unbeaten, conceeding just 1 and along the way cruising by speaking to some deserves a bit of credit..
Your comments would appear that you dont know much about football.. A) Any player can make the most of opportunities if and when provided ( think you will find this player is not starting ). B) I'm pretty sure this season is a hell of a lot different from last in terms of player quality, coaching and technical support C) They already comfortably beat a MPL side, and think you will find they would more than compete in MPL next season. D) And their reserves lost to Western MPL 3-2.. Think you will find they deserve more credit! Another jealous ChCh United or Waimak supporter maybe?
No not a jealous supporter of those clubs and not jealous of anyone.
Putting on a comment, suggest you read it and take note before getting bitter and suicidlal.
I stated I'm more than happy for varsity boys to prove me wrong on the pitch.
No have not seen them play Div 1 this year only pre season a couple times, don't take much note of ps performances.
Yes did see them a few times last season
Yes I do know football and coached it plus been coached by a coach of some repore outside NZ.
The player I mention as being good enough for varsity this year is what I'm looking at as far as how much talent you guys have or don't have.
Same player couldn't make it at Western or Nomads in PDL. Also how many players have you got in for this seaon as from last?
As mentioned in my post yes your boys may get better coaching than a couple of MPL teams.
That is a plus for both club and football.
Just a shame we won't get to see how good the varsity boys are this year and have to wait for, well we will know by the middle of July.
PDL teams change from one week to the next so again I don't give the one off results a huge credit either way.
