Yes a bye in the top flight no ideal, hopefully their will be an even number in the WPL in 2017.
Football Ferns defeated South Africa 4 - 1 in their finial hit out before the Olympics with Annalie Longo scoring one of the goals after being subbed on at half-time with Mikayla Moore also coming on as a sub.

Lovely to see Emma Clarke last week. She was a good kid when with Cashmere. Now a very good athlete, could go places if handled properly.
one of the most outstanding players I've seen in Wpl this year. Real athlete and a great appetite for the game.

Indeed, I'd go so far as to say I see Emma Clarke as a strong contender to succeed Ria Percival in the Football Ferns long-term. She certainly has both the potential to do so, that's for sure.
