With the rise of Central League 2 and the demise of the Fed League, 2025 sees a return to the Western/Eastern Premiership model for Central Football.
In typical chaotic fashion there's already been a few changes since CF announced the 12 team league covering Manawatu, Horowhenua, Whanganui and Taranaki, with Peringa dropping out at an early stage to be replaced by New Plymouth Boys High School.
And between the fixtures being sent out to clubs and appearing on CF website we lost Hawera, meaning this is now an 11 team league.
