Haven't done a good job at being up to date sorry, getting busy at Uni + focus has mainly shifted to Southern League
1. DCR reserves with 9 points from 3 game
2. Northern Hearts with 9 points from 3 games, behind Royals by 1 goal
3. Otago University with 7 points from 4 games (2w, 1d, 1L), best GD with 7
4. Mosgiel with 6 points from 3 games (2w, 1L)
5. Old Boys with 6 points from 4 games (2w, 2L) behind Mosgiel by 7 goals
6. Queens Park with 4 points from 4 games (1w, 1d, 2L)
7. Roslyn-Wakari with 3 points from 3 games (1w, 2L)
8. Northern reserves with 3 points from 4 games (1w, 3L), behind RW by 2 goals
9. Green Island with 0 points from 4 games all losses
Northern Hearts are having a good start to the season so far with wins over Uni, queens park and Roslyn. They have a 6-pointer with Royals so keep an eye on that.
Royals back to looking strong after multiple seasons of mid table finishes. As a reserve side they're not the strongest side the club can field and with the first team struggling they could potentially lose some strong players to the first team. (Not totally sure on the rules there)
Northern aren't quite performing to last year's high standards. This squad is basically the fletchers cup squad from last year so might take a bit for them to get used to this level.
Green Island haven't necessarily been a strong club for a while but even still this current run is fairly shocking. From what I heard they started making players have to buy their own jerseys which led to a bit of an exodus, though I don't know the extent of how bad it was, and frankly considering how last year went probably wasn't the only issue.
Otago University looking solid like always, although exams are coming up and with that the mid year break so there might be a slight drop in form coming up.
