I see referee's appointed as far as Capital 7 this week, I hope they referee to the standard of the game if not could be win for capital Football coffers

I can confirm that the referee in one particular cap 7 did not ref to the standard of the game. It is dubious he reffed to any known standard at all actually.
Perhaps not. No issues with the refs decisions on the whole. His aggressive and deliberate baiting of players on both teams was uncalled for however. You know it's bad when both teams get together at half time and consider asking the ref to leave and playing on regardless.
Following from your string of comments it does seem like there could be some confirmation bias on your part.
Though I do imagine that you would've got a newer referee, so surely you can appreciate their volunteering and cut them some slack? At least a player didn't have to referee as they normally would.
