so CF chucked 100k at Wakefield. They are chucking 400k at Memorial. Good use of our funds? This includes a loan (not sure how much). Is creating debt an imporant issue that should have been discussed with clubs (rather than reading about it in the paper)?
Replacing Memorial...why....?????? so many games cancel there last season....don't think soWe are going to traveling from the wairarapa this season to play in Cap 3. I am sure if the infrastructure is in place, we wouldn't have too much of an issue with a couple of mid week games on the artificial pitches. The interesting thing for me is that capital football can increase the affiliation fees to all clubs for payment of grounds, but do not give a rebate on those who own their own grounds. We own our own ground. We have to maintain it, mark it, fertilise it, and pay all of our own maintenance but yet we pay the same fees as a club that doesn't. Doesn't really seem fair to me.

Becasue Petone Memorial is one of the few dedicated football grounds in Wellington and has the infrastructure around it too. That and it is the home of the best club in Wellington and deserves it

Its no longer a problem.
