we(wainuiomata) had 6 starters out which dident help and our keeper let in about 6 goals that he will never ever let in again in his life time. not his best day. the only thing we can take out of the game is our striker baggin 4 goals including a brillent free kick riise2007-08-20 18:06:44

We dont care about the players you have to come back. We were commenting on yesterdays game, not some game in 3 weeks when everyones back and youve been training together.
Your side got outplayed, be gracious in defeat.

To be fair we didn't have the best of defenses either, 3 of them looked asthough they had never played defense before in their life and 1 of our midfielders kept dropping to much leaving tonnes of space for their centre mids to run into.

Yeah, I find this quite funny, Most of the Upper Hutt boys at party in Eastbourne on Saturday night. They still had 5 players missing that would normally be starters. But hey that's football. UH havent had a training either.
At the end of the day it is only a game Jiz and there is always next week. If Madden was injured why did he even play. Why would you want to risk a more permanent injury to a key player for these games.
Upper hutt didn't need to play long ball football, in fact their first goal was some good player right through the midfield, out wide then back in for a sublime ball through for stiker to slot. Long balls came when Upper hutt tried to play for time and pump into corners.

Well it looks like Olympic are up to F**k all considering they lost to a Wgtn Untd team that had 7 of their players play the day before for the 2nd team. If only they played as good a game as you talk pavlos...

Great draw for us actually!! I thought Papatoetoe were in B Grade which would of made it hard but now im more confident we can win it!!

Metro are pish you should beat them, Papakura are alright not great though, that's all i can tell you about the jafa teams.

Three for me, and two for them.

Yeah i just heard they were in B which i thought was odd cause they have won back to back metro league titles although we did beat them 5-2 earlier in the season.

Three for me, and two for them.

I played for Brooklyn Northern last year-their core are African players who are quite fast and technical but not as organised. They have an average defence but good in the air but very little pace.. Their main central defender is a unit-mint in the air and strong in the tackle but no pace at all. Play the ball on the ground, fairly directly and you should have them. You wont have much time on the ball tho.

Perfect mate, that's our entire philosophy is that football should be played on the ground and to feet. Anyone else in our Group from Wellywood?

Three for me, and two for them.

Kapiti wont be great. They havent played ivan england so no one knows much about them but i suspect they will get most of their players from the local college who played div 1 youth. In that case it will be a few really good players and the rest average. Dave572007-09-14 19:53:22
