Farina Anchico is always impressive to watch - you really don’t want to allow a player that fast any space or she absolutely will punish you for it. Also great to see Ela Jerez finding her feet at United, last night’s goal puts her two places behind Anchico in the Golden Boot race on eight.
Unfortunately I’ll be on a plane to Auckland but next weekend’s United v Wharfies match will be one to watch. United needed a 95th minute winner to clinch it back in April, and despite the scoreline Karori looked impressive at the KSC quarterfinal (especially Sophie Burchfield, who like Anchico has some serious speed on her).
