NOTE..
The groundsman left a message on my phone talking about moving the game (probably martin luckie)
but I dont think he knows its for sunday.

He said something about the phoenix being back but they obviously wont train on match day.
So if its moved...
Blame the Phoenix.
but i dont expect a problem.

The venue has been changed to martin luckie park in berhampore and the time stays the same.
If it is possible.. Can someone please post a map link for those who dont know where it is?

Poor excuse if there ever was one. Martin Luckie is a 5 minute walk from Newtown Park. At most.

Just get him to drop you in town, then catch bus #1 out to island bay.  Get off before the golf course/island bay football clubhouse and walk from there.

No excuses guys.
Its just over the hill.

Newtown 2 would have been available but because the phoenix game was cancelled the other day they are back in wellington.
And the park can only be used for a certain amount of hour per week.
So when it comes to sunday, The Phoenix will have used up the hours.

Blame the cancelation of the game up north.

Nah, that's too far away, should get off at Adelaide Rd before the bus turns to Berhampore and just walk down the road. Prob a 5 minute walk from there, and another 5 minute walk from Martin Luckie to Newtown Park.

catch the island bay bus (number 1) you go pass Wellington South Intermediate School there is a bus stop just after milton st. get of there then walk up Rintoul St to the end and there is the park.

I live in Rintoul st so if you still need help I can meet you at the dairy that is just by the bus stop. but its not that hard to find. just send me a pm if you want to meet up there.

Or.. Meet me (and possibly torne) at the station at 10 and get the bus with us. Then I get both of you there easily.

Anyone else who is keen on coming from the hutt, J-ville or the param line.
Just meet at the station bus terminal and we can all get the bus together.
That way you wont have to worry about finding the park.
Its $2 for students and probably $3.50 or less for older folk.

if you not waiting for the bus from newtown park that yellow fever is getting I would go for the day tripper only $5 and you can get on and off at bus stops when ever. :)

It seems as though there are no excuses not to come.
It would also be good If people spread the word and help get a good turn out.

You can wear boots or whatever you want (not jandals, bare feet or sandals because I will target you in my boots)
There is no wrong football kit to wear (unless you are a Man U. or Liverpool fan)
I dont have bibs or cones yet, but ill work on it.
