Not quite the all NPL final I was hoping for, but it was a good game.

Newcastle remain the only A-League team to never be cupset (for at least one more round anyway!)

I saw earlier today in the rules that the NPL hosting an A-League team rule doesn't apply for the Grand Final and it's up to Football Australia where they want to stage it.

It would be a bit hard on Heidelberg if it's played in Newcastle rather than Melbourne, but it would also be great for the Jets if they got a home final, a lot of casuals would go I'm sure, and a win for them could help see an uptick in their crowds for the upcoming season.

In saying that I still hope it's played in Melbourne
