I got trolled… letting it go…but NZ is about half NIMBY’s and if your definition of what the most damage is being done by neighborhood groups is, is not allowing more than 31 night time events at Eden Park every year, you know more than one every two weeks, well yeh… you’re a troll.

"In 2020, our resource consent permitted Eden Park to hold up to six concerts in any 12-month period .... With Pink's two shows on 8 and 9 March and Coldplay's three shows on 13, 15 and 16 November, it left Eden Park with only one concert slot this year"
No National Stadium should have this level of restrictions. Unless this is overcome, Eden Park shouldn't even be a consideration.
Still the Most Nimby part of NZ as Swift has proven.
I really don't think the Nix ever took the Petone site seriously. Was just smoke and mirrors and sadly some here fell for it hook line and sinker
Can’t read, won’t read or just a Manchester United supporter since Ten Hag arrived?
I mean it’s nice you live in a country with housing, but it’s fairly expensive here relative to most of the world and that’s the fault of NIMBY pricks. Wellington is just making up shark based off a blogpost for its long term planning to suit its NIMBY’s. A blogpost supported by no other professional in the same field. So if you can afford to go to Taylor Swift living in NZ you’ve probably got enough to buy an American ticket and fly to LA. And if you’ve got no idea what you’re talking about stfu.

Ponsonby’s councilors were blaming the floods on a very limited amount medium density housing in Auckland ffs.
