That’s just one guy who keeps adding it because for some reason he thinks it’ll catch on. Probably heard one old rugby fella say it once

Maybe. I suspect SoccerWahs would probably appeal to a decent slice of as yet uncommitted Auckland yoof. And not just yoof. I'm kinda reminded of the old days in Bloc 5 when we had Warriors supporters behind us in their presumably freebie boxes getting off on our singing and chanting. To them it was a whole new world, and they sure seemed to like it.
