Foley now has investments in 4 clubs - Bournemouth, FC Lorient, Hibs & Auckland FC. So those 4 might make up any quadrangular tourney in NZ.
Though yes you would think it would be more a commercial success if it was Bournemouth, Hibs, Phoenix & Auckland. The one FC Lorient fan in Godzone would sadly miss out. Not that either the Cherries or Hibs will have that many fans in NZ, comparable to say Newcastle United or the Hammers.
Will be interesting to see how Foley's relationship is with Rob Morrison & Co. Welnix outwardly have always been supportive of a 2nd NZ team. I think there will be behind the scenes some good mutual respect, and likely a few wines drunk in mutual company, plus sharing of (some) ideas
