With so many of our players at NIX already signed for next year - will our angst be directed at their signings... but obviously in reverse, if they sign quality we complain, if the sign a journeyman we celebrate.

Yeah, I'm all good with building a rivalry etc, but claiming the North Island as your own is a bit naff especially when most of the country have some reason or another to dislike Auckland and wish to not be connected to them in anyway.
Why not something like "Our city, our team, our tribe/legion"???
keep what you claiming local, maybe win a few derbies before you start making claims that suggest you are the footballing centre of the North Island, when clearly the Nix are!
