But seriously folks: here's a factor.

The tiny mob behind the misspelled T-AFC flag on Saturday were, with one exception, entirely new to active support. They didn't know about chanting, they didn't know about standing up at the football, etc.

And you know what? Every single one of those people, despite the tiny numbers compared to the huge and impressive Port turnout, had a great time and are coming back, maybe even bringing friends. People who didn't know what a chant was are now trying to write one about Liam Gillion. And they bought tickets and came because someone (not me) had the idea of "active support for lefties".

That is something that the trolls are trying to crush, for... reasons. Think about what kind of fandom that is.
