Yeah but reading that article, Speedway has no future at Western Springs. 

The National body may wish to continue there, but the promoters who organise and pay for the events don't. They lose money being at WS, with all the noise restrictions they have to operate under. Plus their lease with Council at WS is ending. The National body may try & fight to stay, but seems they don't run the actual events - it's just stubborning trying to hang on by your fingernails, when all logic says it's time to say goodbye.
