no need to be so sensitive about this lol of course they want to hype themselves up & talk about how great they're, same thing happens with OSM, with the Cove, even Melbourne City fans (idk what their active is called) post the same thing... Nix fans and Wellington people always say "We are the capital of football" & we give them crap for having 2 failed teams before this, it's not that deep.. Yellow Fever talk about how inclusive we are, and how we welcome opposition fans, everyone active has their own thing going on. ballane
"A reminder we are fully independent. Just a small group of passionate fans trying to support the team and bring something new to Aotearoa" Its this statement that really pisses me off and the arrogance of it. Its not new to Aotearoa its new to Auckland like lots of other things if it hasnt happened in Auckland it hasnt happened in in NZ. What gets me is not just them but some in the media carry on as if its never been seen before. Yep 6 in a row is new and a crowd like that in Auckland is new. But fans chanting, waving flags and banners and scarfs, flares going off, fan march's crowds over 27000 have all been seen before in Aotearoa in that little old city south of the Bombays called WELLINGTON.
