Where in my post have i said anything about wanting crowds to drop.
As for examples try Rugby,Warriors,Breakers yes all have had great crowds but all of them have also had low periods when things havnt been going right. Sevens rugby is another example.
Yep they are the event for people to go to and be seen at and not necesarily to watch the football. Those people will move on to the next thing that comes to be seen at. Dont think having the hairdresser at games was to attract football people the people that was for wont be there long term or when its not cool.

The now defunct NZ Sevens was a Welly (and then Tron) sporting event, yes?
Does it losing it's lustre, and then dying show Wellington sports fans are fickle?
For sure AFC's crowds will drop. They won't be Premiers every year. Some seasons they won't even make the playoffs. Some summers they will get lots of rain affected games. They will need cleverer marketing than a giant slide and beach to keep the punters coming in.
But you are just continously pounding out this tiresome narrative of 'just wait until they have a few poor seasons blah blah'. Just from it's sheer population size, the 09/07 has a larger football community than the 04. The Estonians are here to stay and I'd bet my left kidney that from hereon until eternity they average larger crowds than the Nix every season.
