Buffon has nailed it above.

If you go back in my history on more then one occasion I have said I support both teams - like many here.

I believe you likely knew that before you were called on it by Buffon but hey don’t let some written evidence stop your narrative.

Do you really think I would have watched 24 Nix games against Australian teams last year when the team was piss, if that was not the case? Trust me I have better things to do then chat to you 😂

Being a supporter however doesn’t mean you should be blind to serious problems and just swallow them. If you follow football you would have seen supporters turning on coaches or owners and even booing them. Sometimes that has resulted in change. Are they real supporters? On the whole, yes and they probably care more for their club then those who sit there in silence and lap it up.

If you are that type of supporter then well enough said.

It also doesn’t mean you can’t critique aspects of the club. I have no doubt there will come a time when I critique the actions of AFC’s CEO and coach. So far however they have made a preety good fist of things - so why criticise? Ali Williams is the type of person I usually loathe- but so far as a part owner he has done a preety good job, so I haven’t yet had reason to criticise him.

The day however they start doing dumb things like charter schools, I will call them on it. The day they blame imports that they hired for the previous woeful season, I will call them on it. The day they take the last game of the season outside of Auckland, yes, I will call them on it.

Maybe the problem here, is you don’t call them on anything?

Have you thought of that?

totally agree - Doloras for one, has been a staunch Nix fan from the get go, but now supports AFC, no issue with her at all.
My beef with this so called Aucklandphoenix person is that they are possibly the loudest voice in the anti-welnix crowd, along a multitude of anti-nix rhetoric and clear bias towards AFC. Yet when called out for now being a clear AFC fan, they have denied it, and yet continue to use "we" when referring to AFC and their support of the team.
This forum is a Wellington Phoenix supporters forum first and foremost, allowing non-nix fans to post is nice but when their content is almost 100% anti the club and team we love then I object to them being here! Despite their 15 yr tenure, they have clearly turned against the Nix and are very pro AFC.
