Yeah that would be a coup. It's unfortunate that none of NZ football's really big names apart from Wynton actually live in NZ. 

Apart from 4 gamer Hay, none of the Kiwis who played in the EPL ever returned to Aotearoa. Wood has made it clear the UK will be his home once his playing career finishes.

Adds to the sport's profile, having some recognizable football figures in the country.
