I mean I get why folks would never support AFC. It’s an innate thing different to each individual. No right or wrong.

But again a big number of Nix fans ain’t from the 04. It’s just that for 17 years the Phoenix were the only horse in Aotearoa to get in behind. Meanwhile you have 90 odd EFL clubs to choose from, and have since your arrival into this world

Personally I hate almost all comparisons to UK football and how we should mimic everything that happens up north. From 'proper leagues' don't have finals football, 'proper leagues' need pro/rel, to this issue of some fans having their 2nd team as the derby rival. For example a finals series, is part of our culture across all pro sports.
NZ and Australia ain’t England, and thank fuck for that.
