Everybody talking about the Nix here reminds me of the All Black fans who had to say that soccer was crap after winning a World Cup.

AFC are a very very well resourced, very well connected club to a big catchment area with lots of footy history where the average house price is 1.2 mill. It’s like Sydney. It’s just a little easier to get players there- Howieson and Vicelich I. for example. Payney too, to start with.

It could be they’ll stay like fellow prime city clubs in City, Victory and Sydney and be constant contenders. Or they might be like WSW and fall away if people get cocky.

I’m not embarrassed to be a Nix fan and I’m not embarrassed by the club. Chief had an unfortunate couple of years. But his first year. F- me. Doka. Oof. Just like Chief and the club was too focused on the derby, now some fans are too focused on the Nix when it’s AFC v Sydney.

Are we calling the CCM losers? Anyway old chat, done to death. If this Jets team gets picked over and they drop to the bottom half next year or the year after are we calling them losers?

AFC’s game and thread.

We just need to get in on Brighton analytics or some such like Hearts did!
