I will take this moment to gloat a little:
1. Louis Verstraete is the best player in the league. He does so much unnoticed stuff that means he never really gets the accolades, but he's so important to this team. An absolute baller.
2. So happy for Howieson. I've played against him years ago. Him and I had a good ol' chat during the game. He left me for dead. Top lad.
3. Woud was absolutely slandered here because he was prone to a mistake. While true, he's proven he's a very good a-league keeper. His absence coincided with Auckland's dip in form, and so did conceding multiple softish goals
4. That was 1000% a penalty on Cosgrove. Grant clearly kicks his legs.
What an excellent evening for football in New Zealand. Now we just need the Nix to pull their head in.
