It’s actually the Saudis that are footing the bill here, not OFC. Money isn’t being taken off the poor island nations. So let’s drop that fallacy. All money into this comp is new money, not fleecing the football fees of some kid in Ba.

No problem in a little new professional club in NZ taking money of the Saudis as they attempt to buy a reputation before their oil runs out.

And as per my posting of the OFC regulations the other day, the other clubs get some Saudi money as well. It is of benefit to them.

One day yes, I would however want the Fijian team to win the OFC league. Both for football and financial reasons. They probably have a better chance while the Nix are not there, unfortunately.

The Nix went to Auckland to please their sponsors and draw a decent crowd from time to time. DD has been on record before as saying the Auckland crowds have previously been the difference between the season being ok financially and not.

There was no charity case there so let’s not sell it as one. Solely financial for the Nix.

If it wasn’t making money, they would have dropped the location as quickly as they dropped Napier.

PS: You do realise that those houses usually come with mortgages don’t you?

Maybe not Anna’s house in Westmere but overnight even you have reduced her net worth by 50 per cent 😂

By the way calling your false comments as BS isn’t abuse.

It’s just telling the truth.
