It’s actually quite hard to find but I think it is US$2 million.
The first US$500k goes to AFC.
They then also get 40% of the rest. That is .4 x US$1.5 million = $600,000.
So in total US$1.1 million which converts to roughly $NZ1.9 million.
The real money however is secured at the four yearly club World Cup.
I guess if SI had made it they would have just contracted players for a six week period and with that type of prize money, it would have been achievable.
