Its all a waste of time any way unless they are going to make genuine attempts to stop those banned from getting into games. I hope like shark they dont penalise all active zones because of the actions of a couple of groups.
stopping banned fans into the stadium is up to the staff on the gates on gameday, I'm certain banned fan's photos are all over the place and are identified to staff before tge event. Tough job to pick one banned fan from a group.
But there should be an onus on the VUC or fan groups like OSM to help the stadium staff. Other codes like rugby union & rugby league that play at AAMI Stadium for example don't provide the same problems for the stadium. It's a unique issue to football, and the clubs especially Victory should be helping provide solutions to solve the problem.
Ain't easy for some young kid on a gate to spot banned fans amongst the hordes pushing through the entrances. Could easily be intimidated by it all. Clubs & fan groups need to be part of the answer. Cameras at the entrances, fans having to look directly at the camera, just before the gate, staff watching the cameras in a control room somewhere etc etc etc
There was a big crowd for that Melb derby, so far from easy to pick out banned fans without a well planned security system in place.
