Understand that all-time leading A-League goalscorer and Socceroos striker Jamie Maclaren has rejected a contract extension from Melbourne City. Maclaren was unwilling to accept a significant pay cut. He is now seeking to find a new club overseas.

Jamie Maclaren denied it.

Aussie Scouts record is very impressive, so this might be the spin the ITK person feeding info to AS wanted to put out (like with the Layouni stuff). Guess we wait and see.
