i know we've used import slots on Krishna, Riera, and Smith (but Krishna and Smith were injury replacements and there wasn't much available, Riera absolutely dominated us in a friendly) so we can't talk, but it's interesting that Perth has spent an import slot on an NPL player. Definitely a change in direction from the big spending Sage era, is it a sign of the tough times in the league or have Perth unearthed a gem?

He's 27 and his highest league was j3 or NPL, I don't know which is higher. By all accounts he's done well in the NPL though.
