Worst GF in the history of the A-League - flat, slow, uninspiring.

Just get rid of these finals series. The team with the most points at the end

of the season has already won it. And that was Perth, losers Sydnet got lucky

on penalties.

When the trophy was presented the stadium was empty lol.

The sooner this GF is forgotten the better.

I hope they do this when the league gets bigger to be honest. But it's such an Australian/American thing to do, I don't think they'll get rid of it anytime soon unfortunately.

It's a longshot to get rid of the whole 'finals series' but when it goes to 12 teams with Macarthur FC, it takes us to 12 teams - 33 matches which is getting up there with a good decent sized league season, could even split the top 6 and bottom 6 and get an extra 5 matches out of it too, take it to 38 - For example; Scotland. However it becomes a bit of a pointless exercise when we don't have a promotion/relegation setup. Probably not got the fan base or sponsor appetite for that long of an A-League season too, especially with the encroachment of NRL and AFL seasons as well as the perpetuity of rugby union on the sporting calendars. I wish we had a European type culture around how footballing leagues were played out!

Getting off topic anyway so congratulations Sydney FC. Wonder if it was just me, but even the celebrations seemed very low key, maybe it's just me! Goodnight.
